Collin County Third Quarter Update
|
|
|
The video below shows the hard numbers on third quarter Collin County home sales. Of course, there's no way to predict the future, but we are really bullish on what's happening in our area of specialization, Fairview, Lucas, and Parker. Remember, all real estate is local and submarkets tend to stand on their own.
We've made a lot of buyers and sellers very happy this year but there's still, always work to be done. We'd love to sell every one of our listings by the last day of the year, but that's unrealistic. Besides, we wouldn't have any homes to sell in the first quarter of next year.
Several of our sellers are taking a breather from showings and removing their homes from the MLS during the holidays, but we have some big sales in the works on those. That proves, regardless of what you're hearing about a stalled real estate market, there are still active buyers out there. It never stops, but sometimes it's not happening fast enough for our clients and us.
Texas has always been a business-friendly state, and with no personal income tax, that will continue to attract people from other states who feel they're being over-taxed. We have seen high website traffic from both New York and California, in particular.
Our next newsletter will be in January with a recap of the year. I don't want to sound overly-optimistic, but my instincts tell me we're going to have some great news to report.

Where Our Visitors Come From
|
|
|
We received over 8k unique viewers to our website over the past month from all over the world. We had visitors from China, Australia, Singapore, and Canada viewing our listings.
These homes are all in either Fairview, Lucas, or Parker, each with a population of about 10,000 residents. To get this kind of traffic on such small markets is really impressive. Although the majority of our traffic is local, it's cool to see an international audience also taking an interest in our listings.
