This intersection at the Lucas Food Store in Lucas has gotten worse and worse over the years. It's become a nightmare for drivers coming from Allen. Traffic backs up all the way to Country Club, another stop light, and sometimes even further during after work hours. But TxDOT (Texas Dept of Transportation) has finally acquired the right of way to expand Lucas Rd. I was curious about the progress and wanted to see it from the air so I flew it today.
