One of the wonderful things about living in Lucas, Texas, is that you get to enjoy lots of big, open spaces. It's close-in country living. Most of the lots in Lucas are at least 2 acres, and many are much larger. It's only minutes away from millions of square feet of retail and entertainment, so it's not just country, it's close-in country. Here's one of the larger tracts of land with Lake Lavon in the distance.
This tract of land is not for sale and is owned by the North Texas Municipal Water District. I think it's unlikely it will ever sell, but who knows what the future will bring. This is a nice video because you can see how Lucas backs up to Lake Lavon.
