This beautiful was just completed and located in Lucas' premier gated development, Barratt Lake Estates. The buyer came to us from California (no surprise there) and originally saw the home a couple of months ago while still under construction.
Over the past 25 years, we've sold too many Ron McHam homes to remember, but I know this: every spec home went under contract and sold on the day it was completed. Any high-end custom home builder will tell you that's almost unheard of. Homes at this higher price point typically take longer to sell because it just takes time to find the right buyer. We first got the listing about four months ago. Back then, I asked Ron what the projected completion time for the home was. He said November, and he got it done on time. I keep hearing about homeowners frustrated with their builders because their homes are taking much longer to complete than they were told.
