I just saw this article in the Dallas Morning News today. I have no idea where CeeDee lives in Fairview, nor would I post the address if I did. We've sold several homes to famous celebrities in Fairview, and never put that information out there either. It's disappointing to know this happened in Fairview, known for its safety, but I guess there's nowhere in the world you can go anymore to escape all crime.

The Fairview home of Dallas Cowboys star receiver CeeDee Lamb was burglarized while he attended the team’s training camp in California, with four luxury bags valued at $300,000 reported stolen, according to Fairview Police Department records obtained by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Chris Chandler, Fairview chief of police, confirmed the burglary to The Dallas Morning News on Sunday.
“The Fairview Police Department is actively pursuing all leads in this ongoing investigation, working alongside area law enforcement partners to identify and apprehend the suspect,” Chandler wrote in a statement. “This remains an active investigation, and no further details are available at this time.”
An incident report shows the burglary occurred between midnight and 3 a.m. July 30. Police were notified shortly after 1:20 p.m. the following day.
The report lists Lamb as the victim and classifies the offenses as burglary of a habitation and theft of property valued at $300,000 or more. Under stolen property, it lists four luxury bags with a reported value of $300,000.
A single suspect is believed to be responsible based on the evidence obtained and the surrounding area, Chandler wrote in a statement. The incident report does not identify a suspect. It listed the theft investigation as active and the burglary offense as pending laboratory results when the records were last updated.
When professional athletes have been away, it’s proven to be a window for burglaries. In November 2024, the NFL and the NBA both issued alerts regarding high-profile athletes who had been victims of burglaries.
Former Mavericks star Luka Doncic was among them. Doncic had an estimated $30,000 stolen from his home in December 2024. Nobody was home at the time. Stars forward Tyler Seguin’s home was also broken into that year while he was playing a home game. Homes of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce were also burglarized that year.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott weighed in on the situation in January 2025.
“Not everything that comes with it [fame] is great,” Prescott told ESPN. “You weigh the good with the bad. What we’re subject to, that others can look up and just see how much we make or maybe an address, and that puts us subject to a target.”
Lamb, 27, was in Oxnard, Calif., for the team’s training camp when the burglary occurred. The Cowboys spent nearly a month in Southern California, from July 27 through Friday. This is a developing story and may be updated.
