The Woods of Ascot Heath is aptly named. You won’t find a prettier, more heavily wooded subdivision in all of Fairview. Several of the homes back up to the wonderful Heard Wildlife Sanctuary, 289 acres of pristine undeveloped land, so there is lots of wildlife in the area.
“The Woods” is the home of Fairview’s famous “Castle Home”, one of the most impressive estate properties in all of Fairview. The home rests on one of the highest points in Collin County and the acreage slopes steeply down to the single, cul-de-sac street aptly name Circle in the Woods.
This is a small development with only ten homes, so if you’re looking for someplace with lots of kids running around, it’s probably not for you. But if you want to live in an absolutely stunning, heavily wooded, high profile development close to Central Expressway, SH 121, and 3 million SF of shopping, entertaining, and dining in both Fairview and Allen, this might be it. These homes are all within Lovejoy ISD, one of the finest school districts in the entire state of Texas (per the Texas Education Agency)
The Woods of Ascot Heath ,with all of its trees, was one of the earlier developments of Fairview. Home construction started in 1988 and the development was substantially completed by 1995. It’s located within Lovejoy ISD.
