For many years Shepherds Creek was an enigma. There was nothing around it, no homes just large fields. The developer cut some acreage out of the raw land, added a nice gate and entry, and they started building homes. It took a long time to complete and as of 2017 there was still one lot left. It was just so remote, you literally had to just stumble on it.
I’ve always liked the long concrete drive into the development past the gate. If you want to feel like you’re getting out a little, you’ll like Shepherds Creek. Eventually development will grow around it, but it really feels like country. There are only four homes in the development but they’re all nice sized and on large acreage. All of the homes are in Plano ISD.
