OK, technically Serenity is located in McKinney, but many just assume it’s in Fairview because it’s right across the street. This was a very expensive development to build with all the stone, concrete work, gatehouse and bridge. At the center is a large lake with fountain. I’m not sure there’s a development in Fairview that cost more and the beautiful homes, most with extensive stone, reflect the setting. Serenity has public sewer and the lots aren’t quite as large as Fairview. Most are right around 1/2 acre in size.
If you need quick access to either SH 121 or Central Expressway (SH 75) Serenity is a couple of minutes from either and it’s a straight shot out to DFW Airport on SH 121. It’s also only 5 minutes from the corner of Stacy Rd and Central Expressway where you’ll find the Village at Allen and Fairview and 3 million SF of retail, restaurants, and entertainment. If you’re a nature lover, you can walk right next door to the famous, 289 acre Heard Museum and wildlife preservation. It’s always been amazing to me there are 289 acres of pristine and diverse ecosystems and wildlife this close to all of the development.
Best of all, although Serenity is in McKinney, it’s also within the Lovejoy ISD boundaries. Lovejoy has always been a top rated school district since its inception and in 2016 it was named one of the best school districts in the entire state of Texas. Serenity has so much to offer its not surprising there are relatively few home sales in here every year.
