I’ve always called Lovejoy ISD, Highland Park ISD, and Carroll ISD “The Big Three” of Texas school districts. Not because of their size, of course. In fact, they’re all smaller districts. The reason is these three always finish at or near the top in performance by the Texas Education Agency.
However, this is the first time I can recall Lovejoy finishing above both HP and Carroll. SchoolDigger just recently came up with almost the same results, but the TEA is the definitive source for school ratings. This is a testament to the hard work of the students, faculty, administration, and parents.
We’re pretty proud of Lovejoy ISD out here, so please bear with us as we honk our own horn a little.
