Did you know there are two real estate related timelines associated with Easter weekend?
First, many Realtors will tell you this weekend marks the “official” start of the selling season although I’m not sure I agree with that. In my opinion, the selling season starts when things start warming up after a cold winter and quite often, that’s early March. We already have $22 million closed and in title as of this weekend and those buyers sure weren’t waiting for Easter to buy and sell their homes.
Easter weekend is also considered the “safe date” to plant freeze sensitive plants in north Texas. I’ve heard that from landscapers since I was a kid and can’t ever remember a freeze after Easter. You’re safe now to plant the colorful annuals without worrying about another cold snap.
And if you’re considering a real estate move this year, we’d love to visit and share how we “professionally market” and not just “list” homes. There is a big difference!
We have five excellent, full time Realtors who really know what they’re doing and will help you achieve your goals, whether buying or selling a home.
