Can MLS pictures entice buyers to go see a home or is this overrated?

Ours Versus Theirs on a million dollar home

Ours versus theirs on a $600,000 home

Your home is probably the most valuable asset you own.  Why would you ever settle for anything less than a beautifully presented, powerful presentation everywhere the home will be seen by the public ... not the least of which is the Multiple Listing Service and Realtor.com?

Taking and editing pictures is an art.  It requires considerable thought, consideration, and a photographer who is willing to do what it takes to make sure the home has some excitement to it and will stand out from the competition.  Walking in with a camera set on "flash" and shooting some quickie shots to get on the MLS is NOT the way to market a home.  The MLS or Realtor.com photos are the first thing many buyers will see on a home.  If the Realtor "blows it" there, the seller has probably lost a prospective buyer without ever knowing it.

Every so often we make additions to our MLS Hall of Fame.  Those have to be really, really bad to make that page, but those are extreme examples.  Keep in mind, it doesn't take anything as sever as that to keep a buyer from wanting to see a home.  There are a LOT of homes out there, and if you want to capture the attention of a buyer, your home had better stand out.  And it all starts with the pictures.  If you will follow the following links, you will see what I mean ...
