Lovejoy School News Update

 

Needless to say, Lovejoy ISD is booming.  It is as close to a private school as you can get and still be in a public system (think of Highland Park).  We are in the final construction stage of the new combination high school and middle school pictured here.  That facility will open this Fall.

The Lovejoy Independent School District recently decided to construct two new schools in Fairview over the next two and a half years.  Work on a new middle school will begin on the east side of FM 1378 (Country Club Road) near the intersection of Old Stacy Road.  That school begins in January 2007. 

An elementary school will also be built at the corner of Stoddard and Hart Roads beginning in June 2007.  Both schools are scheduled to open to their first students in August 2008.
