Twin Creeks is a master-planned, family community just 2 miles west of Central Expressway (State Hwy 75) on McDermott Road. With approximately 1,640 homes and 4,533 people (including residents of Raintree Estates), it was a success from the day it opened!
You will know when you have arrived at Twin Creeks. The esplanade entrance is heavily landscaped with seasonal color. A large lake with fountain is to your left and the sales office for new construction homes is to your right. The streets wind through areas with mature trees and beautifully landscaped homes, a fairly unusual feature for the plains of north Texas.

If golf is your game, Twin Creeks Golf Club is located within the Twin Creeks Community. It is privately owned and open to the public. The Golf Club at Twin Creeks, an 18-hole championship-style golf course, opened in 1995 and was designed by Arnold Palmer. It offers an award-winning golf course that winds its way around two natural, free flowing, tree-lined creeks. Known for its "peaceful" setting and as one of the most naturally preserved golf courses in the state, Twin Creeks Golf Club has become a favorite of Collin County.
According to the course's legendary designer, Arnold Palmer, "This could be one of the best public courses in the state of Texas, and the most peaceful 18-hole course I have ever designed." Golf Digest named Twin Creeks one of the Top Ten Best New Daily Fee Courses in the State of Texas. And Avid Golfers ranked Twin Creeks as one of the "Top Five Courses with the Best Service."
Twin Creeks has the added benefit of being located in Allen Independent School District one of the highest rated school districts in the state of Texas. Kids attend all newer generation schools and some are right out of the ground, including the extremely impressive Allen High School.
